Cantonese flavoured sauces

Sweet and Sour Sauce
This is the most well-known Chinese cooking style to all Westerners. It's distinctively pungent taste comes from a mixture of Vinegar, Giner, Tomato and Sugar. We have our own original King's Castle Sweet and Sour Sauce recipe which is not comparable to any of those you find in supermarkets or grocery shops. Try it and you will know the difference.
Cantonese Sauce
If you like Sweet and Sour Sauce but want to have a change, why nottry our Cantonese Sauce. It is less sweet but more spicy. It is authentically Cantonese and tastes just as enticing as the Sweet and Sour Sauce.
Satay Sauce
This is a mixture of spiced coconut milk with ground peanuts and chilli powder generally consumed in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand with kebabs of meat, seafood or vegetable.
Black Bean Sauce
Dried soybeans are cooked, salted and fermented, causing them to turn soft and darkened to produce the authentic Chinese Black beans. They are then minced and mixed with garlic cloves, ginger and sugar to make a paste. Because of the fermentation, a delicate wine aroma is resulted. The black bean sauce is usually cooked with garlic and green pepper.
Curry Sauce
Although curry is traditionally Indian, our restaurant has adapted a fine style of curry cooking producing a smoother texture and a milder curry flavour which has become a favourite of our local customers. You can order any kind of meat(beef, chicken, Pork or King Prawns) with our King's Castle Curry.
You will find that there are many other styles of dishes available on the menu which might require you to make a few more visits to try them all.

Vegetable/Vegetarian Dishes

The Chinese are very concerned with a balanced diet as well. Most of our meat dishes are served with a mixture of vegetables. Most Chinese families usually have at least one separate vegetable dish on its own for each meal. Therefore, our vegetarian dishes are not only for vegetarians but can be accompanied with your Chinese meal.

For vegetarians, we can prepare most of the options on our menu to suit you from our Hot and Sour Soup and Vegetarian Spring Rolls, to Vegetable Chow Mein and Vegetarian Fried Rice.
